Dr. Bermudez was born and raised in Mexico City. She studied veterinary medicine at the National Autonomous University of Mexico, and practiced for 15 years in small animal medicine in Mexico prior to moving to Canada in 2019. Emma successfully completed her accreditation process in canada and now has her full license to practice in BC as of January 2024. She has always loved dogs and cats; nothing gives her more satisfaction that helping them be happy and healthy! Her goal with each patient visit is to ensure that each patient receive the best possible care, most effectively and compassionately, and to communicate effectively with owners. Dr Bermudez has an (almost) 7 year old warrior princess at home who also loves animals just as much as she does! They do not currently have any pets at home, but plan to in the future! Dr Bermudez' personal philosophy is to always be the best version of herself with her patients her family; to enjoy every moment of life to the fullest, and never forget to always be happy.
