Dr. Kathy was born and raised on a small hobby farm in Lynden, Washington. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology/ Pre-Vet at Dordt College in Iowa, then her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Washington State University, where she graduated in 1992. After practicing in eastern Ontario for 6 years, Kathy moved to Kelowna. She has been with Central Valley Vet Hospital since 1998. Dr. Kathy treats a variety of pets at our clinic, including dogs, cats, bunnies and guinea pigs. In Dr. Kathy's spare moments she loves gardening and being actively involved in her community. She most enjoys time spent with her two children, husband and furry family which includes two cats, a Golden Retriever and a Guinea Pig.
